Vegas' Dream Spa Vacations

Whilst every year millions of people flock to the jewel of Nevada, Las Vegas, for excitement, excess and a taste of the glamorous lifestyle, bright neon signs and ten minute wedding chapels aren't for everyone! Even if you love the non-stop energy of Vegas there will likely come a point during your vacation that you need a little rest and relaxation, and thankfully there are a great number of spas in and around Vegas where you can be massaged, scrubbed and ladled in mud to your heart's content! Here are some of my favourite examples of these leisurely haunts.

Sahra Spa and Hammam, The Cosmopolitan

Decorated in a style that perfectly encapsulates the dry desert surroundings of Las Vegas, the Sahra Spa and Hammam, located in Vegas' newest Strip hotel, is one of the city's best. Lined with earthy woods, sandstone and glittering star lighting, the hotel offers, among a huge menu of treatments, a signature line up of Sahra Hammam-only treatments that you won't find in any of the other hotels or resorts! Body detoxification, steam-based treatments and soaking treatments that will leave your skin soft and supple- great for when you're strung out from too much late night partying!

Qua Baths and Spa, Caesar's Palace

In Vegas, most visitors will, at some point or another, find themselves at the tables, slots or wheels enjoying a little nail biting excitement. Even when back at the hotel, many who have caught the gaming bug for their stay will be playing games via online providers- Euro Palace casino can be played from anywhere in the world, after all- although even the thrill of winning can make one's muscles rather ropey and taut! The Qua Baths and Spa at Caesar's Palace is the perfect panacea for these kinds of ills- with a huge number of different massage and treatment packages on offer you won't have to worry about those aching limbs any longer!

Spa Bellagio, The Bellagio
The Spa Bellagio is one of Vegas' most endowed spas in terms of the number and variety of treatments available. Asian Ashiatsu massages are very popular, although cookyly- named treatments such as Deep Coconut Surrender, Danza Delle Mani Massage, Cooling Eye Therapy and the ever-romantic Couples Massage are all equally rejuvenating. Open from as early as six in the morning, I've always wondered how many people get in from a night on the tiles, only to slink away into the steam room or whirl pools, ridding themselves of the night's excesses! I may have to experience that during a future stay!
