Faith In Nature Aloe Vera Shampoo + Conditioner Review

faith in nature shampoo and conditioner review, aloe vera shampoo and conditioner, faith in nature review, haircare, natural haircare, natural shampoo, natural conditioner,
Let me introduce to you my latest combination of haircare products. Which come in the form of this shampoo and conditioner from Faith In Nature - who have been manufacturing and selling their products for over forty years(read their story here)! Faith In Nature pride themselves on being eco-friendly and cruelty free! All their products are made from naturally sourced ingredients - which is what they believe makes them work so beautifully! They are also free from parabens, SLS, synthetic colours/fragrances, artificial preservatives and other kinds of potentially harmful substances. Most of their products are suitable for Vegans, and all are Vegetarian friendly!

As I mentioned in my last hair related post I've been trying to take much better care of my hair just lately, and I'd also just run out of my previous shampoo, so these products couldn't have arrived at a better time! I was invited to choose something from the Hair Care section of the website, and after browsing through all the intriguing products, I finally decided on the Aloe Vera range:

Faith In Nature Aloe Vera Shampoo - particularly useful if you have a sore or itchy scalp because Aloe Vera contains important substances for the skin and is renowned for its soothing properties. Other than this, the shampoo is suitable for all hair types, and is infused with citrus oils for an uplifting sensation - a great way to start the day! Unfortunately the gel-like formula didn't lather up as much as I'd have liked it to so I did have to wash my hair twice, but a little product still went a long way and it rinsed out easily, leaving my hair feeling wonderfully clean and refreshed. The citrus scent was very noticeable but not overpowering.

Faith In Nature Aloe Vera Conditioner - Again this would help if you have any irritating scalp problems due to the active Aloe Vera ingredient. After washing with the Aloe Vera shampoo and rinsing out the product. I massaged this conditioner through the lengths of my hair and left to sink in for about 10 minutes (although 5 minutes would be sufficient). Again the citrus scent was noticeable, and awakening! As I rinsed the product from my hair I could really feel how silky soft and smooth it had made my hair!

After using the products, both my hair and scalp felt deep-cleansed, soft, and refreshed! I also noticed a little extra shine and less frizziness to my hair than normal. Even after blow-drying! I was really impressed with the short term effects of the shampoo, and I will continue to use these products in my attempt to recover my dry and damaged hair! Finally, I should add that I was amazed at the price of these products, as they are really cheap compared to other natural/organic products I've come across. Full price they each retail at £5.35! I would definitely recommend giving the Faith In Nature range a try! I've now got my eyes on their Coconut hair care products ;)

Have you tried Faith In Nature or any other natural hair-care products, and do you notice a difference from using other high street brands?
