Degustabox Review | November 2014

I've seen a fair few of these Degustabox reviews floating around on my blogger feed lately, and since I moved into my first home I decided it was about time I got my hands on one of these boxes for myself. I was easily swayed by an offer which I found on the Degustabox Facebook Page where you could get your first box for just £6.49 including P&P!!

My first box arrived earlier this week, however I was disappointed to find that one of the products inside had split open and ruined some of the other products in the box, however after emailing Degustabox they quickly responded and arranged for a complete new box to be sent free of charge, and that arrived within just 2 days and in perfect condition - so well done to Degustabox on your customer service :)

Degustabox is a monthly subscription box which contains between 9-14 delicious and interesting edible/drinkable treats - many of which are new to the market! The box usually costs £12.99 but Degustabox guarantee that the products inside will considerably exceed this price! You can even fill in a taste profile which will help them select products especially for you! Anyway here are the contents of my November box...

Cool Dawn Recovery £1.49 per can.

Ideal for the party season as this is a herbal detox drink which actually helps to prevent and cure hangovers! This citrus and liqourice flavoured drink contains no stimulant ingredients and is not carbonated. It is recommended to drink a full can cold and shaken towards the end of the night, and then another in the morning if needed! I would be genuinely surprised if this works, but it's definitely worth a shot!

Montano Cider £2.79

An elegantly crafted Italian cider made only from Apples grown in the foothills of the Trentino region of Northern Italy. I think we will certainly enjoy washing our meals down with this!

PIP Organic Cloudy Apple £1.50 per bottle.

This pure organic apple juice is made by a family run, London based business which have won awards for their products. They contain no added sugars, water, preservatives or additives. I love apple juice and if its full of goodness and tastes good - even better!

Holy Cow Indian Curries £1.69 each.

Oh I do love a good curry! Although I can only stomach the mild versions so I think these particular flavours might be a little too much for my personal taste! But they look great, and are made from all natural ingredients! They are also suitable for vegetarians.

Kent's Kitchen Fajita Flavour Shots £1.85

These flavour shots are a quick and easy way to jazz up your meat dishes! The pack has four gel-like shots which are used to coat the meat whilst cooking to add taste and enhance your meals.

Branston Caramelised Onion Chutney £1.50

Chutney can be used in so many ways to add flavour to your meals and snacks, there is actually a recipe card in this months box for a Cheese, Spinach and Caramelised Onion Quiche which I will most definitely try out myself! I love baking, and I love trying new things and this sounds delicious!

Lindt Lindor My Melting Moment 65p each.

Crafted by the Lindt master chocolatiers, the Lindor My Melting Moment snowflake shapes are filled with a delicious smooth melting chocolate center. These would make perfect little treats for stocking fillers for Christmas!!

Kettle Chips Limited Edition Stilton & Port £2.19

I don't usually eat crisps as such, but these sound really tasty, and of course being a limited edition festive flavour I'm desperate to give them a try.

Drink Me Chai Spiced Chai Sample Sized Present

A blend of exotic spices, milk and sweetened tea. Just add milk of water for an instant taste of India!

A great selection of products in the November edition, and if I could afford to continue my subscription I certainly would, as I love being introduced to new products which you wouldn't normally think to buy whilst doing your weekly shop etc. The overall value of this box was well worth the £6.49 I paid for it. But it would also have been good value for money at the standard monthly price of £12.99 inc P&P.
