The St. Moriz Instant Self Tanning Mousse in Medium is my all time favourite, go-to tanning product. I'm sure most of you are with me on that one, as I've heard so many of you mention it too! I was recently offered the chance to review the St Moriz Bronze Bag (£4.99) from SemiChem containing 3 self-tanning products; the above mentioned Mousse, along with St.Moriz Exfoliating Body Scrub and the St.Moriz Ultra Moisturising Body Lotion - both of which I've not tried before.

One of the most important things to remember when self-tanning is preparation is key! You can check out this really clear, simple and very helpful tanning tips guide on the St Moriz website which will help you achieve the tan you want, and keep it looking great for as long as possible!

Step 1: St Moriz Exfoliating Body ScrubExfoliating your skin is super important to prepare your skin to get an all over, even-looking, perfect tan. You should exfoliate before and in between applying tan. Concentrating particularly on rough/dry skin - elbows/knees etc where the tan would stick to and be darker than other parts of the body.

Step 2: St Moriz Ultra Moisturising Body LotionAfter exfoliating your skin, it might need a bit of TLC, this is where the body lotion comes into play. You should apply the lotion thoroughly and evenly, paying particular attention again to dry/rough skin such as your elbows and knees and rub in well. Ideally you should then wait around 24 hours after exfoliation and moisturising before applying your tan.

Step 3: St Moriz Self Tanning Mousse - MediumThis mousse is super easy to apply - I usually use a sponge/foam  mitt and rubber gloves to help with the process. It dries almost instantly, and doesn't leave your skin feeling sticky or greasy. You will notice an even, streak-free, golden glow to your skin straight after you apply, and the colour does get deeper too the longer you leave it on. This is ideal for a spontaneous night out as you don't need to wait for the tan to develop or dry!

  1. This sounds wonderful! I definitely love gradual tanning products like the Jergens Natural Glow.
