RIMMEL KATE MOSS LIPSTICK SHADE 16* | HQ HAIR | £5.49

I used to wear lipstick all the time, like literally wouldn't leave the house without it on... but lately my lips have become so dry, and I keep biting the skin off them all the time, I don't know if it's when I'm stressed at work or something, but they look absolutely awful most of the time. Anyway, I have been trying out some new lipsticks in the hope that it will act as a barrier to stop me biting them! One of my current favourites is this Rimmel lipstick in Shade 16 from the Kate Moss Collection - and it is literally the perfect shade to rock on your lips this summer!

First up, I would like to say that I hate it when products don't have a shade name... I have quite a collection of make up and I can never remember which ones I have unless they are named, these seem to stick in my head! However, that's just a minor criticism... The actual product makes up for this by a long shot! The colour of this lipstick is absolutely gorgeous, if I had to describe it, I would say it is a pink-toned coral which would suit a wide range of skin tones, and as previously mentioned, is a lovely, bright, colourful shade for the summer months - especially if you are quite tanned!

The lipstick has a semi-matte finish which is super pigmented and opaque with just one swipe. The formula is really creamy and doesn't contain any shimmer/glitter, meaning it glides onto the lips really easily without tugging. In terms of wear, I've found that this particular shade lasts for around 4-5 hours (even with eating/drinking as normal) which I find pretty good for a lipstick, although Rimmel do say it lasts up to 8 hours(maybe, if you don't eat or drink anything??) It wears off equally all over the lips throughout the day, and doesn't leave patches of colour.

I would highly recommend this particular shade, and I will definitely be picking up some more to try out from the Kate Moss collection soon! Not to mention, this little beauty costs just £5.49 so it's hardly going to break the bank!

  2. Gorgeous colour! Great with your skin tone and definitely perfect for Summer! I also hate it when products don't have a shade name, I know it's not something that affects the quality or anything but it makes it more difficult to talk about and re-purchase etc XD

  4. Rimmel lipsticks are always a winner for me, although I agree about the shade name thing! Names are so much more memorable, especially for when you want to go into Boots to pick one up.

  9. I think I have this shade lurking in my drawer at home but as you say because it hasn't got a name I'm not entirely sure it is actually this shade. I do know that it is a coral though, as I'm not sure how I feel about corals on me, but I must get it out and try it x
