Estee Lauder Pure Color Five Color Eyeshadow Palette in 40 Batik Sun* | £36 | Harrods

Isn't Estee Lauder just the most beautifully packaged brand? Everything about it just boasts luxury... From the gorgeous navy blue boxing, to the shiny golden casing, embellished with the "EL" logo... I love it already! This is the Estee Lauder Pure Color Five Color Eyeshadow Palette in 40 Batik Sun which was released back in 2013 as part of the Estee Lauder Bronzed Goddess Collection. This compact palette contains 5 well selected and complementary shades to help you create a bold and eye catching summer look, along with 2 double ended applicators, 3 of which are foam/sponge and the fourth is a brush. There is also a handy mirror on the inside of the palette. All this makes it totally ideal for travelling or even just to carry in your handbag to touch up your makeup, midway through the day.

The eye shadows are, as expected, amazing quality. They have a super soft texture and apply smoothly and tug-free to the eyes, I didn't get any fall out when applying either, which is always a good thing! The colour pay off is absolutely perfect - what you see in the palette is what you get, as you can see from the swatches. What I love about this palette is that you can use some of the colours to create a natural, neutral and glowing look, and then you can add a splash of colour with the orange or turquoise too! The only bad thing I have to mention is that on the back of the palette, only the lightest shade is described as metallic/shimmer, when in fact, all five shades are shimmery! Not that this is disappointing in any way, its just that the description on their own packaging is incorrect.

Although I'd have to say this palette is definitely more suited to deeper or even dark skin tones, or if you have a lovely summer tan, and most of us paler-skinned ladies would struggle to use the brighter colours in the palette, the neutrals are ideal for every day looks! For instance, Shade 1(light champagne) makes for a fabulous highlighter! Then Shade 3(gold) would make a good "all over lid" base colour, before applying shade 5 (deep brown) in the creases and along the lash line to define. If you're feeling braver, why not try out Shade 2(bronze/orange) and Shade 4(deep turquoise) to re-create this bronzed goddess look (model is Hilary Rhoda for Estee Lauder).

I am so lucky to have this palette added to my collection, and although this would normally be out of my price range I will bear in mind that Estee Lauder is a higher end beauty brand and I would totally recommend it based on quality, appearance, finish and the versatility of looks you could create with this little gem!

Life | The reasons why & planning/budgeting to move out of my parents house!

A rather long and very personal life related post for you all today, but I figured that considering the majority of my readers are around the same age as me, this would be relevant and maybe even helpful to some of you? I want to talk about something that's been on my mind for quite a while now, years in fact! And that is the subject of what I'm doing about haulin' my ass out of my parents house once and for all! This is very real for me, so although a lot of you will look at the length of this post and instantly press the "x" in the top corner, I hope you will appreciate the time I've taken to write about something so important to me. I'm sure some of you will be in a much worse position than I am right now, and others will be in a much better position, so please bare that in mind if you do comment on this post.

The beginning

Back when I was about 18 (I'm now 22) I didn't really have a good relationship with my parents. I was fresh out of college, after failing miserably with my A Level's, and I was constantly rebelling against them; curfew's, rules and their opinions on my friends and general life choices... Oh, and why did I not have a full time job yet?! I could totally understand why they wanted me out, and the feeling was mutual, I vowed that as soon as I got a full time job and got some savings together, I would be outta there! Hopefully moving into a little house or flat with my boyfriend... But alas, 4 years later, with a full time job that I've held down for 3+ years, and a boyfriend of 5 years who is now my Fiance', I'm still living with my parents!

My current living situation

Granted, we all get along much better as a family now, all-be-it a bit tight knit. We are a large family; there's my parents, my 2 brothers (20 and 10 yrs old) and my sister (15 yrs old). In total, 6 of us living in a 3 bedroom semi-detached house in Sedgley, West Midlands. I'm sure you can imagine that space is pretty tight to say the least! I don't stay at home very much nowadays, because my bedroom is filled with bits and pieces for my new place when I move out, so I don't really have anywhere to sleep. Also, for the past 3-4 years I have been stopping at my Fiance's parents house with him, then coming back home on a morning to get ready for work. Unfortunately, as lovely and accommodating his parents are towards me, I'm getting real sick of being stuck in someone else's house with no freedom. I'm not the kind of person to "make myself at home" because of the way I've been brought up to be respectful towards other peoples property and privacy. So this is not exactly an ideal situation for me.

Car Finance

Back in July last year, I had managed to save around £4,000, which I was planning to put forward as a deposit to buy our own house with my boyfriend! Basically, he f****d me over big time and went and brought a brand new car on Finance without even mentioning it to me, which is costing him £250 a month for the next 5 years! I went and did the same... because I thought why should I put all my hard earned money towards a house for us if he's not contributing anything. I found a "nearly new" second hand car, which just happened to be the Ford Focus Zetec in Vision Blue, which I'd been lusting after for years! It's a 2010 registration with just 6,000 miles on the clock for a bargain price - £8,000! I paid off half of it straight away with my savings. My Grandad then very kindly lent me the remaining £4,000 to be paid back over 3 years, meaning I would have paid this off by July 2016. BUT... I've been a very good girl, paying off more than I originally scheduled each month, and I now owe only £2,500, which I have saved like crazy for over the past few months and am paying off this week! So I am now debt free and with a months pay to spare too! Woohooo!

My relationship

If and when he see's this, he will probably kill me, but it's my blog so I'll write what I like ;) As I say, I've been with my partner for 5 years now. We got engaged in February this year and I thought this would be the turning point for him to finally book his ideas up and start thinking about a future with me! It appears I was wrong. I should mention that I've been lied to too many times, and cheated on by him too, so trust and commitment is a huge issue for me now. I'm not looking for sympathy, I know it was my decision to stand by him, and I'm dealing with it as we go. He was finally beginning to give me the love and attention I deserved, before he bought his new car (mentioned above) without mentioning it or discussing with me, or thinking about how it would damage our financial future plans. I have come to realise over the years that he just hasn't matured yet, and probably still isn't ready to make the move, but I'm standing by him because I'm hoping that eventually he will realise what he has with me - a stable, loving and supportive relationship with a responsible, motivated and independent girlfriend... yeah, that's me ;) haha. But anyway, for now I need to be ready and prepared to just go it alone, which unfortunately means its going to be much harder, both mentally, physically and financially for me. If he does decide to help me out then I'll be happy and very grateful but I'm not holding my breath on that one.

Current Outgoings

Paying my car off, means I barely have any outgoings each month now. £20 a week goes to my parents for board money. I have a SIM only phone contract of £15 a month from Virgin mobile after I downgraded and bought a second hand iPhone 4S ages ago. I also have my younger sisters phone contract in my name at £22.50 a month.

My Job/Salary

I've been at my current position for over 3 years now which hopefully will put me in a good stable position to apply for a rental property. I work 37.5 hours a week and I'm paid £7 an hour, my gross salary works out at just over £13,500 a year...

Rent + Household Bills Affordability

My salary really is nowhere near enough for me to consider living alone in the current financial climate. Private rent costs are absolutely ridiculous, but I have no other choice. My parent's aren't well off and we practically live week to week, so they aren't able to help me out either, which is totally understandable, so I've gotta earn every penny I need to move out! I could probably apply for a council house due to overcrowding at home, but the waiting list is ridiculous, and other people would have more priority anyway, single mums, people without jobs etc, so I don't see the point. I decided to make myself a little budget list for moving out using an Excel spreadsheet to put everything into perspective, and the results weren't great. I can just about afford to survive, and will have about £10 a week spare. I have looked at some rental prices, and the best I'm going to be able to afford is £350 a month, which will get me a small 1 bed flat.

What I'm doing about planning/budgeting/saving now

I have got my budget list sorted out, and I have a rough idea of what I'll need to save up to get started... including application fees, approximately 1 and 1/2 months rent as a deposit, and a months rent upfront. Not to mention, the things that you need to save money to buy before moving into your new place, the necessities - i.e kitchen appliances (Fridge, Freezer, Microwave, Kettle, Toaster etc) somewhere to sleep. So at the moment I'm back to saving again after paying off my car. I've also been buying bits and pieces if I see them at a good price (plates, cutlery, utensils, towels etc). So my bedroom is full of stuff ready to move!

Researching and Property Search

I currently live in Dudley, West Midlands area. Obviously there will always be the dreams of getting a great, well paid job and up-heaving my roots and finding a nice property for sale in London or some other big city where all the well-to-do people live haha! But being realistic I want to stay as close to where I currently live as possible because of family, work, travelling costs etc. There are tonnes of ways you can look for a new place. You could do the old fashioned way and look in estate agents windows. You could try looking in your local newspapers property section, for me this is the Express and Star and Dudley News (free local paper), but I've been mainly using property search apps on my iPad, such as Zoopla Smarter Property Search and Rightmove Property Search. These are totally ideal and really useful. You can filter your searches based on preferred location, price range, property type, number of bedrooms and even keywords(garden, wood floors etc)! If you like the look of some properties, you can quickly set up an account and save them to "your favourites". You can also set up property alerts, which will send you a notification when a new property is listed based on your preferences. Fantastic!

I am hoping I will be moved out before the end of the year once I have a bit of money together to get my set up. I would like to keep you all updated as I go, so these life update posts will probably become a more regular sight here on my blog, keep your eyes peeled!

I'd also love to know if any of you are maybe in a similar situation, and have you written any posts about it? Or have you found any useful websites or posts about moving out which I could read? :)

Why your mobile device could be your latest cutesy accessory

 Albus in Candyland

Hair bows, flowing skirts and quirky wrist watches – there are a million ways in which we can dress ourselves in order to make us look cute. But there's one new fad that's beyond just what we put in our wardrobe – gaming!

Up until recently I was only using my cell phone to tweet friends and Instagram my favourite fashion pics, but I've recently stumbled upon a new addiction that's got me unable to put my phone down – a little known game called Sugar Pop.

I wasn't really into gaming before, but a friend of mine recommended Casinosagafans.com, and it turns out, there are a whole host of cute games out there! Sugar Pop in particular is enough to delight any sweet tooth – it's essentially a slot machine game, but there are so many cotton candies, boiled sweet and lolly pops, you could be mistaken for thinking you're in a Katy Perry video.

It was comforting to find out that I wasn't alone in my new (slightly geeky) obsession. After a little research, I've discovered that women's interest in gaming is going up at an alarming rate – in fact, today, 48% of gamers are female – a rise from 42% in 2012.

This might explain the rise of games targeted particularly towards women today. Whatever your age, there's a cutesy game out there for you – Pet Rescue Saga, for example, plays to the maternal instincts within all of us, while Bubble Witch Saga helps us embrace our inner kick ass female. Thank you, Lara Croft.

The increasing need to cater for women in the gaming industry has even given rise to events like the Women in Gaming Awards, which honours women working in the industry. That's a pretty cool dose of girl power, and it certainly makes me feel better for whittling away the hours gambling on my mobile device.

Of course, games like Candy Crush and Flappy Bird have been keeping people from all walks of life entertained in recent years, but this new genre of 'cute' games covers a wider range of people and certainly completes and cute look that my fellow fashionistas out there might be going for.

There's no shame in it, and if having the latest cute game on my cell phone will complete my look, then I'm all for making my mobile device my latest fashion accessory.

Alchemy Oils | Grapefruit Hair Remedy* | 100ml | £17.99

The Grapefruit Hair Remedy appears to be the only product available to buy from Alchemy Oils website at the moment. I'm guessing the reason for this is that they believe so strongly in the qualities and results of this product that this is all you'd need. The remedy contains a blend of 5 super oils, which claims to improve the condition of your hair and strengthen from within.

The product arrived well protected in a cardboard box and wrapped in a gorgeous hot pink paper. Upon opening this I found this lovely little glass bottle with wooden cork stopper. It kind of reminds me of something out of the Harry Potter films in a potions class... very unique and clever packaging design - Alchemy Oils!

The remedy has a deep honey-like colour to it, but has a fruity fresh scent. The remedy can be used on all hair types and colours! Yes, you heard me, all hair types... fine, thick, damaged, dry, curly, straight, afro and even oily/greasy hair as the product actually helps to regulate oil production.. so it won't make your hair any more oily. The formula contains 5 super oils, which are: Coconut, Avocado, Almond, Castor and finally the main ingredient Grapefruit Oil. Each has it's own individual natural properties which work in sync together to promote hair growth, thicken your hair, and leave it with a lustrous, healthy looking shine! The Grapefruit Oil also helps to fight against dandruff and keep your scalp healthy.

It is recommended that you apply the product to damp hair, by massaging a few drops of the oil directly into your scalp. You should then leave on for a minimum of 20 minutes for it to work its magic. I decided to apply when I was having a lazy sunday, and left it on pretty much all day wrapped in a turbie towel, before rinsing and shampooing out on the evening. I was happy to see that the product didn't leave a greasy residue, but it did leave my hair feeling luxuriously soft, smooth, shiny and smelling gorgeous - the scent literally lasted for days! If your hair is frizz-prone, you can apply a tiny bit of oil through the mid-ends of your hair before blow-drying to smooth out any flyaways.

Although this might seem a little pricey, the100ml bottle will last a long time as you only need a few drops at a time to massage into your scalp, maybe once or twice a week. The product is completely natural, no SLS or harmful parabens. It is blended with the 5 most effective super oils so there is no need for anything to be added or taken away, and allows your hair to absorb everything it needs to be strong and healthy!

Here are some useful images which I've taken from the Alchemy website, to explain the properties and benefits of each of the ingredients in more detail. Enjoy!

Estee Lauder Pure Colour Sheer Rollergloss in "02 Squeeze"* | £17.00 | Harrods

Isn't it just beautiful? I will admit that I spent quite a while just admiring the packaging and taking photographs when the Estee Lauder Pure Colour Sheer Rollergloss arrived! You can probably tell that I can't normally afford high-end beauty products, so when they are ever so kindly gifted to me, I am super grateful! This particular product was released back in summer 2013 and was part of the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Summer Collection!

"A heat wave of colour. Tempt your lips with luscious shine and sheer colour. Irresistible, lightly flavoured gloss leaves your lips wanting more."

The gloss comes in a transparent tube so that you can see all of the product inside - I received the shade named "02 - Squeeze" which, upon first glances looks like it will be a bright, fuschia pink. I have to admit that I was a little disappointed when I applied the product to my lips. The description "pure colour" kind of mislead me into thinking that it would have a great colour pay off but on application I found it only had the tiniest amount of colour. To be fair to the product though, it does also state that it is "sheer" and sheer it certainly is!

Despite this slight negative point, the metal rollerball makes easy work of gliding the right amount of product smoothly onto your lips, without any waste. The formula is lightweight and non-sticky (we all hate those moments where the wind blows your hair and it gets stuck to your lip gloss!) and offers an incredibly irresistible glossy shine finish to your lips! Oh and I should probably mention that it has the most delicious, fruity scent, which is just right and not off-putting at all! I didn't notice any long term moisturising qualities from wearing this gloss, however whilst you are wearing it will make your lips feel hydrated and quenched!

Overall this is a really lovely product and as it is sheer, it's perfect for everyday wear - adding a glowing, healthy looking shine to your lips, especially if you don't like wearing heavy lipsticks/glosses! Personally I can't afford to spend this much on a beauty product, but if you can, this will make a gorgeous luxurious addition to your make up bag!

Micro Pedi & Nails Inc Bundle* | £39.99 | Exclusively at Boots!

If theres one thing I hate about the human body, its feet! I'm not sure what it is, but I really do have the strangest feeling about feet, I don't like to look at other peoples feet, and I certainly dont like anyone touching mine! Is this just me?

What I do like about feet is to make sure they look and feel healthy. This involves keeping them clean, moisturised, keeping my nails in shape and painting them with a bright, fresh colour every now and again. Despite all this care and attention, I've noticed my heels have become cracked and very dry recently (maybe due to wearing poor quality shoes and sandals) and this is where today's product review comes into play...

I've seen the TV ads for Micro-Pedi endless times, but who really trusts the ads? So eventually I decided it was about time to try it for myself and see what all the fuss was about. When I saw that Micro Pedi had teamed up with Nails Inc to offer this fantastic bundle I had to get my hands on it! This bundle includes the award winning Micro-Pedi electric foot file, a cleaning brush and 2 limited edition Nails Inc nail varnishes.

The Micro Pedi is battery powered, and requires 2 x AA Batteries(which aren't included), but then you're good to go! It uses a gritted roller which spins 360 degrees up to 30 times a second. You hold this against the damaged skin areas on your feet and it effortlessly and painlessly buffs away the dead, hard and jagged skin  to leave you with soft and smooth feet. It literally took me about 5 minutes to treat both feet, and you can see just how fantastic the results are in the image above(click the image to enlarge, if you don't mind looking at feet!). I still can't get over how smooth my heels are now! The thing I love most is that I can achieve these salon results in the comfort of my own home, without anyone going near my feet!

The Nails Inc polishes I received (I think the colours can vary in different bundles) were Brook Street - a gorgeous bright red-pink, and Porchester Place - a bright and fresh orange! I decided to try them both out, one on my hands and one on my feet, what a lovely contrast in colours! The polishes are both equal quality, they were easy to apply, dried relatively quickly, and to a glossy, streak-free finish.

The only negative point I might raise is that the roller on the Micro-Pedi will probably only last for a few uses depending on how bad your skin is and how often you use it as the grit wears down pretty quickly. However you can get different strengths/coarseness when you buy replacement Micro-Pedi rollers at a cost of £12.95 for a pack of 2 at Boots.

The overall value of this box comes to £59.99, however this is currently on introductory offer at Boots for just £39.99. So, you want beautifully soft and smooth feet again? You need the Micro-Pedi in your life! And now that you've read my review, and seen some genuine results and images, you can see that it really does work, you have my word!

Pink Parcel Subscription Box | £9.99 (Incl. P&P)

I know I know, we're all sick of beauty box reviews by now, and trust me I've had my fair share of them, including Glossybox and Birchbox. However, today I have something a little different for you. I was first introduced to Pink Parcel through a "recommended for you" post on my Facebook newsfeed and there was an introductory offer for new customers where you get your first box for £5.95(including P&P) so naturally I had to give it a go, I'm a sucker for a bargain!

Pink Parcel is a montly subscription service, and it is based around your monthly menstruation cycle(I know I know, not really something you wanna be talking about on a beauty blog, but most, if not all of my readers will go through this, so we're all friends here, right!) When you sign up, you pick your preferred branding and absorbency of tampons, and when you would like to receive your box in time for the beginning of your period. The box will then be dispatched in time to provide you with what you need and a few little treats to cheer you up too :)

This was my first box, and I thought it was great value for money, as I say I took the introductory offer price of £5.95 and here's what I got in my box:

You get 25 tampons in your box as standard and you get to choose which brand and what flow type you need. If 25 isn't enough for your cycle you can let Pink Parcel know and they can make arrangements for you. The tampons also come with a cute black velvet pouch "for now - keep these in your bag"!
(I have also read on the FAQ section of Pink Parcel, that when they launch their new website in September they will also be offering sanitary towels as well as tampons, if this is more suited to you!)

I've always wanted to try the real Bio Oil, as I've always bought dupes/cheaper versions from Poundland, which seem to have done the trick but I can really tell the difference in using this one, mainly because this formula is light and not greasy. I use this on my inner thighs as I have some stretch marks which I've had since I was about 14, seriously crappy! But the Bio Oil claims to reduce the appearance and fight against scars, stretch marks, uneven skin tone, ageing skin and dehydrated skin.

I received a 50ml tube of this which is actually the full size product. This is an ideal product for this time of year, as it contains a very high SPF value of 50+ to protect your skin from sun damage. Enriched with a hydrating complex, not only does it protect but also moisturises to leave your skin feeling velvety soft and smooth. The formula isn't sticky and doesn't leave your skin feeling greasy, but does take a bit of massaging in. It is suitable for normal-combination skin, perfect for my skin type!

A lot of us forget that our lips also need protecting against the sun just as much as our skin does, so this handy little twist-up lip balm/lipstick which has SPF30 and moisturising waxes is ideal to just pop in your handbag. It can also be used on more sensitive and sunburn prone areas of your face for added protection. Multi-use products are always a winner in my book!

A minty, light and refreshing tea to help relieve a dodgy stomach, perfect if you suffer from period cramps and pains, or if you're just generally feeling a little under the weather to help maintain a healthy digestive system!

Not a brand I've come across before, but I love it already, this hot pink shade is gorgeous, and perfectly bright and bold for summer :) The polish is super easy to apply, dries quickly and has a glossy, non streaky finish.

Who doesn't love a bit of chocolate? Especially during that time of the month! This delicious chocolate is infused with sweet vanilla and contains maca to give you an extra boost!

Overall I thought this box was fabulous value for money and I have also just got the dispatch confirmation for my next box. I would definitely recommend you try this box, even if you do just have the first introductory one, as you can cancel anytime.

Philip Kingsley Stimulating Scalp Mask* | Look Fantastic | £16.00

I've done a fair few hair related posts just lately, but I'm always up for trying new products to improve the overall health and condition of my hair. This Stimulating Scalp Mask from Philip Kingsley claims to help your hair grow by encouraging blood circulation and maintaining a healthy scalp and improving hair texture and behaviour.

The product comes in a squeezy tube, with the standard Philip Kingsley professional looking white packaging and coloured font. The formula has a luxuriously thick & creamy consistency. It is advised that you should use the product once a week on damp hair. I apply by massaging into the roots of my hair and scalp, the product should be left to work on your hair for between 10-20 minutes - during this time you will probably feel a slight tingling/cooling sensation, before rinsing out. I personally like to rinse my hair with cool water, which will also soothe and refresh.

Luckily I've never suffered with any scalp conditions, but I'm sure this product would really help anyone who does have an itchy or flaky scalp as it feels really refreshing, cool and soothing whilst the product is on your hair. Unfortunately this feeling didn't last much longer after rinsing the product out.

The product contains a range of vitamins and minerals for extra added goodness, to improve the texture of your hair. I have noticed a general overall improvement in the feel and appearance of my hair after using this product, but I think to notice a growth improvement this would take at least a few more months of trialing the product. The product comes in 75ml and is priced at £16 from Look Fantastic, which I estimate that you would get about 10-15 uses out of, which equals out at 10-15 weeks worth, so not a bad price considering!

If you were interested, you can read a bit about the Philip Kingsley Elasticizer in my review here.
Have you tried this or any of the Philip Kingsley hair treatments?

Bare Minerals Lash Domination Mascara* | Look Fantastic | £15.20

I've never tried anything from Bare Minerals before, although I'm constantly seeing their products on QVC when I watch the beauty sessions, but I was recently sent the a mascara from their range to try out and review for you. The Bare Minerals Lash Domination Mascara claims to be a 10-in-1 volumizing mascara...What are the 10 benefits I hear you ask?

Volumizes, Lengthens, Thickens, Separates, Lifts, All-day wear, Mineral fortified, Smudge-resistant, Resists clumps, Fights Flakes.

The first and most noticeable thing about this product is the funky, bold packaging. The box is hot pink in colour with bold black fonts, and in a diamond shape. The mascara tube is also strangely shaped, and has indents in the top section for easier hold whilst applying. Which then brings me onto the wand... which has been given the name of a ProTwist180 - which spirals 180 degrees around the entire length of the wand. This is specifically designed to curve around each lash and coat from all different angles to ensure maximum coverage. I personally found the brush a little awkward and it was hard to reach shorter and corner lashes. Saying this, I think I've become to accustomed to my current mascara with a "spoon" shaped wand, so this is probably just my preference.

The colour is "Intense black" which is a very deep pure black shade, perfect for a dark, smokey eye look. The formula is quite wet and thick, so I did leave the wand to dry out a little before applying to my lashes to stop them from clumping together too much. I applied 2 coats(as I usually would) of BM Lash Domination and although I didn't find it lengthened my lashes all that much, it certainly volumized and separated my lashes as you can see in the images above!

The mascara contains nourishing minerals and a protein complex to give your lashes a little TLC whilst wearing. Talking about wear, I applied this to my lashes for a normal day at the office, and I found that it does not smudge or flake, and didn't irritate my sensitive eyes at all. So great for everyday and all-day wear!

Overall, this is a great all rounder mascara, and does actually meet all 10 of its claims for me! Although I think that people with particularly short lashes might struggle with the wand. The mascara comes in a little over my usual budget but still cheaper than the bloggers favourite - Benefit "They're Real", which this could be a very good match to!

What is your favourite mascara and why?

Passion Fruit Scented Candle* | Jewel Candle | £24.95

I was recently sent this wonderful surprise from JewelCandle, each candle has a jewel hidden inside which can be worth anything up to £250!! There are so many different scents to choose from, but I finally decided on Passion Fruit because it looks very bright, and sounded like the perfect fruity scent for summer! I wasn't wrong, it smells delicious, almost good enough to eat (almost - but I would advise you not to haha). The fruity fresh aroma is strong but not overpowering, and it filled the whole room! The candle comes in a tall glass jar, so there is a lot of product for your money, and the burn time is around 130-150 hours, wow! The glass jar with glass lid also comes in pretty handy for storage afterwards too!

There are two varieties of JewelCandle, the taller jars have a ring hidden inside, and the shorter jars contain a pair of earrings. All are high quality jewellery pieces, in 925 Sterling Silver and have a value of between £10-£250. It's so exciting waiting for the candle to burn as you don't know what you're going to get! But I was very impatient and used a spoon and tweezers to pluck my jewel out instead of burning the candle down. The last JewelCandle I received had a price tag on the ring, but it appears they no longer do this, which unfortunately means I have no idea how much my ring is worth - but its very pretty and I'm really happy with it. It is a little too big for my ring finger so I have been wearing on my middle finger instead where it fits perfectly.

This would make a great gift idea for candle and jewellery lovers! Especially as its a surprise too. Maybe you could purchase for your friends Birthdays, or your loved ones as an anniversary or "just because" gift (you could take a look at their Sweetheart range because they are adorable heart shaped candles!)
