The O2 is a large entertainment complex based in London, and is associated and named after its main sponsor which I'm sure we've all heard of before which is the telecom company O2. Based within this complex are several venues which include possibly the most well known - The O2 Arena. The 02 Arena is a large, multi-purpose indoor arena with a capacity of up to 20,000. It is the second largest in the UK next to the Manchester Arena, and is the worlds busiest music arena!
If you're looking for something to entertain you, your partner, your friends or your family then the O2 arena offers a range of entertainment including music gigs, family shows, kids entertainment and sport so there's something for everyone!
In particular if you're looking for something to do this school half term then a couple of events include "Katy Perry - The Prismatic World Tour" and "In The Night Garden Live".
Coming up later on this year are some other great events;
Music: Justin Timberlake, Pharrell, Ed Sheeran, Lady Gaga’s artRave: The ARTPOP ball & Diversity
Entertainment/Comedy: Russell Howard & Lee Evans - Monsters
Family: Disney on Ice - 100 Years of Magic & Ant and Dec's Takeaway On Tour
Whilst you're at the arena there are lots of places to re-fuel at the bars and restaurants, some of these are the Soundbites Grill, Base Pizzeria, Lanson Bar, Salt + Vinegar Fish and Chips and the O2 Blueroom which are all open from the arena door time until the end of the intervals during an event so you won't go hungry or thirsty, and time to chill out and relax too!
If you're an O2 customer you get "Priority" which means you can get your hands on tickets up to 48 hours before general release.
