I was recently contacted by the lovely Alison from Candle Rings, who offered me one of their candles to review here on my blog. Some of you may remember that I have reviewed a candle similar to this before? Well, because I loved that one so much, I couldn't wait to try this one out! Candle Rings candles are 100% handmade from pure soy wax and come in a large, good quality glass jar. There are currently 11 scents to choose from, I was sent Black Cherry* - which smells deliciously fruity!
Each candle contains a ring, which can be worth anything from £10 to £1000!! You simply have to light the candle and wait for it to burn down far enough (or if you're really impatient like myself, use a spoon and some tweezers) for you to reach the ring - which is housed inside a plastic bag and outer foil wrapping for protection. I'm not a very hopeful or optimistic person, so obviously I wasn't expecting to find a ring worth anywhere near £1000, but to be honest I was hoping for a little more than what I found, although the ring is pretty, it's not at all my style and its a little big and chunky for my hands too. The ring I received had a value of the minimum £10 RRP (which is attached on a small handwritten label). Enough of the negatives anyway, because rings are a thing of personal taste, so someone else might love this particular style!
The candles are very reasonably priced on par with a lot of their competitors, at £24.99 each - which, considering the size of the actual candle and the fact that they can burn for up to 150 hours is absolutely brilliant! Not to mention, the jar will come in handy to re-use afterwards! As I'm such a big fan of candles just lately, I really hope to be able to try out another candle from this company because if the other scents are anything like this one, it will be like a candle heaven! If you'd like to purchase a candle for yourself or as a gift, you can get 15% off by using code "LAURA15" at the checkout :)
Finally, Candle Rings have also offered me another candle to provide as a giveaway for my readers! You can enter using the Rafflecopter widget below. There are lots of ways you can enter! Good Luck everyone!
