Laura Mercier Almond Coconut Milk Soufflé Body Cremé - I've seen a few bloggers reviewing makeup products from this brand, but I didn't realise they did body products too. This body cream smells so lush, and I'm already a fan because it's non-greasy and soaks into the skin quickly. The cream is packed full of vitamins A,C,E and contains Shea butter to give your skin the nourishment and moisture it needs to look and feel it's best!

Yin Yang Natural Moisturiser - This light moisturiser contains a blend of natural botanicals including spring water, coconut oil, witch hazel and sweet orange oil, which not only feels good, but does good for your skin! The formula is pH balanced and protects against dryness and ageing, this is deemed suitable for all ages and skin types with the exception of oily or acne-prone skins. I've been using this on a morning before applying my primer and make up.

RMK Make Up Base - I just ran out of my Maybelline Baby Skin Primer, so this couldn't have come at a better time. It's very different to most other primers I've tried because its a very thin, lightweight, silky formula, and does offer a dewy finish, rather than matte, but I do really like it! This lotion smoothes and hydrates the skin to offer the perfect base before applying your makeup - and really does help your foundation last longer.

Colour Club Gala's Gems Collection Nail Polish - These pearlescent pastel shades are perfect for Spring! I got the shade "Breakfast At" which is a beautiful emerald pearl colour, love it, I'm tempted to purchase the others - I love the look of "Gold Struck" :)

theBalm How 'Bout Them Apples Palette - I have to admit, I saved the best til last on this one! First of all, I love theBalm's packaging, its always so cute and retro, and it features a cute little pug on the front :) I got the shade "Pie" which is a pink/red shade, but the full palette contains 6 orchard inspired shades, perfect for all complexions! They have a cream formula which make them easy to blend and you can build the shades from a light flush of colour to more dramatic looks. The cream can be used on both your lips and cheeks, making it well worth the money for such a versatile and multi-use palette!

April's Birchbox followed the theme "good enough to eat", my box contained five beauty samples (which I'd strongly advise you not to try and eat haha!) and a sixth "lifestyle" sample in the form of this delicious Propercorn Sweet Coconut & Vanilla Popcorn, which lasted all of 2 minutes as I devoured them all to myself, mmm! On first impressions there were a couple of brands I recognised; Laura Mercier and theBalm which I am most excited about. There are a few new brands which I've not heard of before, but I was pleased with everything I got in my box and have really enjoyed trying the samples out so far!

You can subscribe to Birchbox for £10 + £2.95 p&p (monthly).

*Unfortunately this will be my last Birchbox review because I'm cancelling my subscription, simply because I'm trying to save money, but I am very happy with the service and products I've received from Birchbox, and hopefully I'll subscribe again in the future.

  4. I haven't ever felt that Birchbox was very good, I'm not sure why as I've never had a subscription to it! I'm more of a Glossybox girl, but after seeing this post, I need to subscribe! Laura Mercier? Amazing!
