Review Tmart 88 Shade Matte & Pearlescent Eyeshadow Palette

I was recently sent this Tmart Eyeshadow Palette to try out and review. I've not heard of before and I didn't really know what to expect, so I read a couple of the online reviews and a lot of them said the shadows lacked in pigmentation, so I wasn't getting my hopes up! When the palette arrived I was pleasantly surprised, so here's my review...

Shades - The palette that I am reviewing is the 88 shade matte & pearlescent palette. As the name suggests there are 88 colours in total, and there are a variety of both matte and pearlescent finishes. I did find that there were quite a lot more pearly shades compared to the matte's. What I like most about this palette is the fact that its so versatile! You get a good selection of neutral and bold shades, which allows you to create so many looks! (Unfortunately there are about 4 pans filled with the same intense blue shade, I instantly noticed this when I opened the palette?)

Pigmentation - As with a lot of cheaper eye shadow palettes, the pigmentation varies from shade to shade. The lighter matte colours are typically not very pigmented and need a bit of warming up before application. The deeper/bolder shades are much more pigmented but do need a fair bit of layering to build up a good effect.

Application - The palette comes complete with 2 x double ended sponge applicators which are quite handy, I do prefer brushes... but, each to their own! I always use an eye shadow primer/base before applying shadows which ultimately helps them apply smoothly and last longer. I will mention there was a lot of fall out when applying the shadows, but once applied they were easy enough to blend to create the desired look.

Wear time - I wore some of the neutral shades for work with my usual MUA eye primer. The shadows did fade slightly, but were still in place by the time I got home over 8 hours later. So in my opinion they have a pretty good wear time.

Packaging - The packaging isn't anything to write home about however its sufficient for the product and price. A simple yet sleek, matte black flip open palette. There is quite a large mirror on the inside of the palette which is quite handy and perfect for travelling.(My palette was slightly damaged when it arrived... on the bottom left corner of the lid, which you can just about see in the photo's, nothing drastic though!)

Delivery - Delivery is FREE! & this palette is dispatched from a UK based warehouse within 24 hours, so delivery is pretty quick. I received my palette in under a week!(About the same rate as a standard 2nd class delivery)

Overall I think this is a brilliant palette for experimenting and trying out new make up looks. There is every shade you could possibly wish for. The quality of the shadows isn't too bad either for the price. I think this palette would make a pretty good (dare I say it...) Christmas present for those younger girls in your life, be it your younger sister/niece?

The palette is priced at £11.07 & includes FREE WORLDWIDE SHIPPING! - LINK
