Today I have a review on MUA's brand spanking new, UNDRESSED eyeshadow palette!!
I bought this over the weekend as soon as I realised it had been released :)
It arrived yesterday along with some other goodies that I ordered. You can see what I got here. I must say it was super quick delivery, thank you MUA!
If you aren't familiar with the MUA brand, they started out in Superdrug stores with all their products priced at just £1 each! Since then they have expanded and now have the MUA Pro range, where products can range between £1-£8. Still, great value!
So, heres their latest addition to the range....
The packaging is trademark for most MUA products, the simple but stylish black and transparent case.
I think this is wonderful as you can easily see what's inside the palettes without having to open them. (Great idea I'd say! I hate it when you find palettes and makeup with fingermarks smudged everywhere from people messing inside the packaging!)
The thing I like most about this palette is that there are both shimmers and matte shadows, and quite a range of colours! Mainly neutral, with a few deeper shades added in. I've read that it compares to the famous Urban Decay Naked palette? I wouldn't know as I don't own this palette to compare :(
The set does come with its own double ended sponge applicators, however, in all honesty, it's not the best, and I never use it.
Unfortunately MUA don't name their eyeshadows, they are simply just Shade 1-12 in this palette. But I'm sure it would take absolutely forever for MUA to name each and every one of the eyeshadows from their ranges. Them again, maybe you could have a bit of fun choosing your own names for each of the colours? :)
A very pale, peachy pink matte shade.
A pretty light pink shimmer.
A matte, beige/nude.
A gorgeous beige shimmer.
A medium brown, matte shade.
A bright gold shimmer.
A copper coloured shimmer.
A dark brown shimmer.
A baby pinky-brown shimmer.
A Brown shimmer.
A dark grey shimmer with silver glitter flecks.
A shimmery blueish-grey.
From left to right...
Shades 1 to 12.
What a fantastic palette? And for just £4, its an absolute bargain too.
This is available to buy from selected Superdrug stores, if they stock a decent range of the Pro products. OR you can find it online at the MUA Store, here.
Have you bought the Undressed Palette, or will you be buying it now? :)
P.s Hope you liked this review, let me know if you would like to see more like this? x
